he board exams for class 10 and 12 had to be postponed for a lot of states due to the covid-19 lockdown and the rapid spread of the deadly virus. Recently, the state board of Tripura has announced the new dates for all the pending board exams of classes 10 and 12. According to an official statement, the board exams will be held from June 5.

Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) will be conducting the board exams for classes 10 and 12 from June 5 to June 11. The exams for these remaining subjects were postponed due to the ongoing covid-19 induced pandemic.

The examinations for all the states had to be postponed but recently the Ministry of Home Affairs has allowed the boards to conduct exams for remaining core subjects. MHA has also issued a list of guidelines for all the state boards and educational institutes that are conducting exams to ensure that the students are practicing social distancing and proper hygiene.

27, 142 students to appear for Class 12 exams

While speaking to reporters, Tripura education minister Ratan Lal Nath had confirmed the news that the exams for the remaining subjects will be held in June. He said that all the exams for students who appeared for Class 10 boards under the new syllabus were competed before the lockdown, but some of the exams for students under the new syllabus are left.

A total of 27,142 students had registered for Tripura Class 12 board exams this year, out of which 13,908 students were male and 13,234 students were female. The exams for class 10 and 12 were supposed to end in the last week of March, but the remaining subject exam had to be postponed in view of the nationwide lockdown.
